Utility and maintenance repairs on residential streets
Richard Hills, Texas

After the utility department does a repair, the street department cleans up and does the asphalt patching. Using a CTI Model 2000 Asphalt Cutter, the trench is squared up before being back-filled and patched.

Clyde Hall, Street Maintenance Foreman, says they previously used a small jackhammer to square up the asphalt, with slow and unsightly results.

Clyde says, "The asphalt cutter is faster and much easier than the jackhammer, too."
